(INDIANAPOLIS) -- Just one day prior to the official kickoff of the 2014 General Assembly, the Indiana Chamber of Commerce will host the 2014 Central Indiana Legislative Preview on November 18.
During the preview event, Hoosiers can hear directly from the four caucus leaders on what their top issues will be, and learn how those issues impact employers statewide. The panel will examine topics such as education, workforce development, taxes, and health care and regulatory matters.
The annual event will allow legislative leaders to discuss how they see the upcoming session playing out and the Indiana Chamber will offer its position on a number of top pro-jobs, pro-economy issues.
Additionally, the Small Business Champion awards will be presented to four legislators (one from each caucus) in recognition of their efforts in improving the small business climate.
The 2014 Central Indiana Legislative Preview runs from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, November 18 and will be held at the Hyatt Regency in the Regency Ballrooms (second floor) in downtown Indianapolis. Tickets are $49 per person and include lunch.
