(INDIANAPOLIS) — Hoosiers don’t have to wait until the upcoming General Assembly session gets underway to find out which issues may impact them: The Indiana Chamber of Commerce will host its Central Indiana Legislative Preview on November 17.
At the event, all four caucus leaders – Speaker of the House Brian Bosma, House Minority Leader Scott Pelath, Senate President Pro Tem David Long and Senate Minority Floor Leader Tim Lanane – will share their perspectives on issues such as education, workforce development, taxes, health care and more.
The annual preview will allow legislative leaders to discuss how they see the upcoming session playing out. In addition, Indiana Chamber President Kevin Brinegar will reveal the organization’s top pro-jobs, pro-economy priorities for 2015.
The Indiana Chamber also will designate five legislators as Small Business Champions in recognition of their achievements in enhancing the state’s small business climate.
The 2015 Central Indiana Legislative Preview runs from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, November 17 and will be held at the Hyatt Regency in the Regency Ballrooms (second floor) in downtown Indianapolis. Tickets are $49 per person and include lunch.
